After securing her crown as Miss Teenager SA National Director choice Nonelela Melissa Ndzube,19, from Bisho established Miss King William’s beauty pageant.
According to Model, Speaker, Philanthropist and Founder of Legacy SA modeling and beauty academy, the pageant was established September 2019 with co-founder Qali Sotenjwa and Unathi Ndzube. The purpose of it is to groom the young girls into the leaders they are meant to be.
“To instil good values, morals and character because we believe that talent without good character is pointless as it will not take you any far in life,” she said.
She added that the idea came when Ndzube won Miss Teenager SA National Director Choice 2019.
“I felt the urge to bring it back to the community by doing a long-lasting programme that will help the youth be better versions of themself. Then the idea of doing Miss King William’s Town came through and we as the team vowed to make it a pageant that will focus on building young people and not just focus on the main day of the pageant,” she said.
The event will take place on the 19th of December in King William’s Town, Golf club. With prizes such as Designed outfit by Christ, Weaves from TeeQuee Hair Boutique, clothing voucher from CKs Fashion boutique, signed a contract with Legacy SA Modeling &Beauty Academy.
Tube added that tickets are sold from Quicket for R100 meaning that people will buy to watch virtually at the comfort of their own homes.
“Due to Covid 19 we are forced to only have family, finalists and only certain guests,” she said.
