The matrics are expected to rewrite their trial examination Accounting paper one on Wednesday after writing an incorrect version of the paper.
According to the Eastern Cape Department of Education‘s Head of Department, Dr Naledi Mbude the matrics were supplied with a wrong question paper to write on Monday after the wrong file was sent to the printers.
“The 2021 National Senior Certificate (NSC), Grade 12 trial examinations Accounting Paper 1 error wherein a wrong file was sent to the printers and an incorrect version of the paper supplied to learners on August 30,” said Mbude.
Mbude apologised for the error and pleaded with the public to give the Department time to deal with the issue. She added a full re-audit to ensure that all the question papers to be supplied for the current NCS 2021 trial examinations are legit.
“The Department would like to apologize for this rare error and the inconvenience that it might have caused to the Grade 12 Accounting learners, teachers and their parents,” she said.
